Levetts Farm, Woodhill Common Road Danbury Rd, Sandon, Chelmsford CM3 4AN
The purpose of this group is to create a safe and supportive space for men to freely share their life situations without fear of judgment or criticism.
You will be encouraged to tap into your innate ability to grow and evolve. By recognizing and nurturing your personal strengths - positive habits, traits, emotions, and patterns - you can cultivate inner well-being, which will greatly impact your external reality.
By elevating your vibrational frequency, you have the power to detach yourself from situations that no longer serve your highest good or are causing unnecessary stress in your life.
Moreover, when we shift our mindset, it can free us from old patterns or traumas that may be inhibiting our progress.
Regardless of our backgrounds or life story's, it's important to understand that everyone faces challenges and struggles. However, it is crucial that we no longer attempt to face these difficulties alone.
Men have long struggled to express their true emotions and discuss their life situations. The burden of societal expectations and the pressure to conform to a specific image of masculinity have caused many men to detach from their feelings, resulting in feelings of loneliness and disconnection.
Moreover, these societal pressures have made it difficult for men to find genuine ways to express themselves. They may even struggle to recognize their own emotions, as they have been conditioned to suppress them, potentially leading to toxic masculinity.
Toxic masculinity, is often misunderstood, and refers to the societal pressure on men to conform to traditional masculine norms and behaviours. It encompasses harmful expectations that suppress emotions and discourage open communication, ultimately leading to a disconnection from one's true self.
Regardless of our backgrounds or life story's, it's important to understand that everyone faces challenges and struggles. However, it is crucial that we no longer attempt to face these difficulties alone.
The toll that difficult situations take on our physical, emotional, and mental well-being cannot be underestimated. Anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and other negative internal effects are just the beginning. These challenges also impact our relationships, whether personal, professional, or social, and can cause us to lose sight of our true selves.
That's why Keeping it Real provides an open and accepting environment where everyone is treated with equality, respect, and love. It is a space where individuals are encouraged to embrace their authentic selves and take control of their personal well-being.
Men are far more likely than women to go missing, sleep rough, become dependent on alcohol and drugs as coping mech.
